Day 1 of group 1's discussion so when I entered the room they were

already preparing for their discussion. First of all, I enjoyed the day
because of their lessons and games in class, so I didn't feel bored.
And i've learned that science is the pursuit and application of
knowledge and understanding of the natural and social world
following a systematic methodology based on. Also science is one of
the most Important subjects that must be learned because of its
relevance to the students' lives. In the science class the students
use and develop life skills such as problem-solving and critical
thinking, which they need to succeed in school, career, and beyond.
Until they finished their discussion, I picked up a lot of knowledge
and fun that day.
Day 2 The continuation of group 1's discussion.
They discuss constructivist teaching which is anchored on the
fundamental belief that learning occurs as individuals are actively
involved in meaning-making and knowledge-construction processes.
Also I've learned that science education aims to develop scientific
literacy among the Filipino learners that will prepare them to be
active and engaged citizens in the society. The K–12 science
curriculum as a whole emphasizes the use of constructivist
pedagogy and is learner centered and inquiry based. The spiral
progression of concepts and skills in the life sciences, physics,
chemistry, and earth sciences paves the path for a deeper
comprehension of fundamental ideas by presenting concepts and
skills at ever higher levels of complexity. At the end of the lesson I
learned a lot.
On the first day of group 2's discussion, when I entered, I was
already worried and there were a lot of materials to attach to the
board, so we helped them and I was satisfied because their
decorations in the classroom were unique, which attracted our
attention as students. Group 2 discussed the instructional planning
cycle and the first stage is stating the intended instructional, the
second one is planning and lastly is assessment. So as a future
educator it is important that we know this because it depends on
how well we will discuss with the students. And this is also where we
will know if the student can learn something from us.
Continuation of group 2
The discussion was full of fun from the beginning to the end and
they discussed the developing instructional plans for elementary
science. Like Unpacking it is the extracting of the component
knowledge and skills required by a standard in order to understand
the learning expectations of the students and the parents. Also I've
learned the steps that we need to undertake when unpacking the
elements of the curriculum guide in order to plan for classroom
instruction.I learned many lessons and will never forget the
experience of this day.
First day of Group 3 presenter and I am one of the members of this
group.I can see from my fellow students their joys from their lips
and how they listened to our prepared presentation today. My group
members discussed the power of observation and the importance of
observation in science. We all know that observation is a very
important part of science. It lets us see the results of an
experiment, even if they are not the results we expect. It lets us see
unexpected things around us that might stimulate our curiosity,
leading to new experiments. Even more important than observation
is accurate observation. And until the end of the discussion I was
happy because the tiredness was worth it.
