Possessive Nouns

To show ownership, we use possessives. We form the possessive of singular nouns and
plural nouns that do not end in “s” by adding an apostrophe + “s” to the word.

Examples: bag belonging to the girl = girl’s bag

ball belonging to the boy = boy’s ball
