Social Responsibility
▰ a theory in which everyone in society must fulfill their civic duties.
Personal Responsibility
▰ the act of taking responsibility for:
▻ The things one says or does
▻ The actions one undertakes
▻ Taking care of one’s business and obligations
Civic Responsibility
▰ People show civic responsibility when they take action on matters relating to politics, the environment, and the
economy.
Student Responsibility
▰ demonstrate academic integrity and honesty.
▰ attend and participate in classes, labs, and seminars, prepared and on time.
▰ complete the assigned work in a timely manner with attention to quality of work.
▰ avoid making excuses for their behavior.
▰ communicate in a careful and respectful manner with professors, peers, and other members of the college
community.
▰ are engaged learners who dedicate sufficient time outside of class to college work.
▰ act in a civil manner that respects the college learning/social environment and complies with college policies
outlined in the student constitution and college catalog.

MATURITY
▰ Ability to respond to the environment in an appropriate manner.

DECISION MAKING
▰ the action or process of making decisions, especially important ones.
▰ The act of making up your mind about something

Kinds of Decision:
Irreversible Permanent decisions
Reversible Not final and can be retracted
Delayed Decisions that are put on hold
Quick Decisions Decisions enable one to make maximum use of opportunity available at hand
Experimental Final decisions cannot be taken until preliminary results appears.
Trial & Error Trying out certain course of action
Conditional Individual keep all his options open
