How to issue and

redeem tickets
on-ground and
offline

Paytm Insider Digital Events


Redeeming Tickets -
● Please download the app and log in using the email ID + OTP
● Select the redeem option
● Select the event that you want to redeem tickets for from the drop down
● Click on 'Redeem' to open a screen from where ticket QR codes can be scanned and Booking
Reference / Shortcode can be entered as well for scanning.

Issuing Tickets
● Please download the app and log in using the email ID + OTP
● Select the issue option
● Select the event that you want to issue tickets for from the drop down
● Enter the details of the customer who you are issuing the ticket to (Name, Mobile number &
email address
● Transaction type will be ONGROUND if tickets are being sold onground
● If you are selling tickets offline, select the transaction type as ISSUED
● Select the payment method (Cash, Card, Paytm, etc.)
● The customer will receive e-ticket on their email address and mobile number if you have entered
the details correctly

How many? - Enter the quantity of tickets

*Type = Issued when we want communication to be sent to the customer

Type = Onground
when we do not want the communication to be sent to the customer to avoid double
redemption
Troubleshooting
While issuing tickets -
- Errors while issuing tickets -
- You are not authorized to issue tickets
- If you get an error message while issuing tickets, you need to check on the following -
- Check with insider folks if you have the necessary access to issue tickets
- Check whether the ticket has expired. To avoid this error you can proactively check the
ticket expiration date
- Check if your ticket is sold out or reached the maximum capacity. To avoid this, you can
keep the capacity for issuing tickets to more than what you expect.

While redeeming tickets -


- Errors while redeeming tickets -
- If the shortcode is refunded - ‘Requested document was not found in the store!’
- If you dont have the permission to redeem - ‘You are not authorized to redeem this ticket’
- If a shortcode does not get redeemed. Check on the following things
- Check with insider folks if you have the necessary access to redeem tickets
- Check if the customer is showing the e-ticket for the correct event
- Check if the customer has transferred the ticket to someone else
