FIRE RESPONSE PROCEDURE

Actions to be taken on hearing the fire alarm.

1. Leave your workstation, DO NOT return to it.

2. Leave the Site Office by the nearest fire exit.

3. Close doors behind you, walk, and DO NOT run.

4. Report to the nearest Assembly Point.

5. DO NOT re-enter the site office until instructed to do so.

6. If needed, call civil defense on 997 stating the exact location and
status of the fire.

Action to be taken on discovering a fire.

1. Raise the alarm by breaking a beak glass call point and shouting
“FIRE”.

2. Attack the fire using fire extinguisher provided only if safe to do so

(if in doubt, leave it).

3. If the fire is developed, DO NOT attempt to tackle it: leave the site
office by the nearest fire exit.

4. Report to the nearest Assembly Point.

5. If needed call civil defense on 997 stating the exact location and
status of the fire.
