A student had a seizure today. I ran upstairs and saw the student—still sitting on her stool
—curled over the desk seizing. Along with my principal and security, I checked and monitored
her for to ensure her safety. We were all eventually able to pick her up and lie her on the ground,
on her side, for safety. I made contact with our district nurse to get next steps. I called her family
immediately after to notify the situation. During this time, an ambulance had already been called.

Continuing forward, my goal is to get exposure in ELCC 3 as I intend to work with our
video production teacher to help students create and coordinate a short feature film, which is
intended to be presented by the end of the year. This will benefit me in the future as it is an
opportunity to show my interest in the students’ learning progress and their final product, while
being able to take the feedback into future opportunities for myself and staff.
