Introduction

An African proverb says “ it takes a village to raise a child”. A parent

can rely on other people and places to ensure that their child’s health
and safety is secured. In the case where a situation arises that is
beyond a parents control , they can rely on external factors to take care
of their children. These factors play a huge part in making sure that
their medical needs and protection are met. In this document I am
going to discuss the different roles of different places and Healthcare
professionals that can assist children in health living.
