II. Project Rationale
Alagao - Malindig is a school that primarily focuses on teaching students or

developing specific skills. The school must provide a conducive and safe physical
environment as part of this. School buildings and facilities where learning takes place
must be safe for students, teachers, and other school stakeholders.
As a child-centered school, Alagao - Malindig is committed to providing a
comfortable and safe physical space that fosters an interactive and worthwhile learning
culture while students are at their second home. Project BUILD, which stands for
Building Units in Learning Development, was initiated by the proponents to address this
issue because it is deemed important to work on and prioritize.
III. Project Objectives
1. Building Units In Learning Development of the School

2. Ensure the safety of students, school personnel, and stakeholders on school
grounds.
IV. Problem Statement
According to the National School Building Inventory results, Alagao - Malindig

Elementary School has more than 80% of school buildings that require repair, both
major and minor. Weakened buildings caused by natural disasters must be retrofitted,
while others must be demolished for the safety of all stakeholders.
V. Problem Objective Statement
Restore and improve the school's buildings.
Ensure the safety of students, school personnel, and stakeholders on school grounds.

VII. Project Descriptions
The project entitled “Project Build “ which will be implemented by the school is an
initiative of the proponents to find ways on how to Restore and improve the school's
buildings and to Ensure the safety of students, school personnel, and stakeholders on
school grounds.
This project will be implemented for the calendar year 2023-2025 to meet the
needs of the growing population of the school. To run this project, involvement of all
teaching and non-teaching personnel, as well as stakeholders is very essential.

VII. INTERVENTION

Alagao-Malindig Elementary School utilizes and maintains physical

facilities both on and off school that suitably serve the needs of the school’s
educational programs support services and other mission-related activities.
The quality of school’s environment and it’s facilities has strong influence
on every individual. It also encourages a good workplace for the teachers and
the stakeholders.Because of this, we developed Project BUILD Building Units In
Learning Development wherein we need a replacement two classrooms and
repair. The school head as well as project proponent send a request letters ang
resolutions to the PSB and LSB.
