The Pokemon that is known to cause a lot

of headaches in Pokemon Go is Ditto. Ditto
can take the form of other Pokemon, as
well as copy their moves and CP. A lot of
players want to know what are the current
Ditto disguises, what are the odds of
finding a Ditto, and what are the chances
of getting a shiny Ditto in January 2023. To
make it easier for everyone, we decided to
make a list and ad all the correct info.

Ditto’s one move, and frankly, the most

important one is the Transform move. With
this one, Ditto gets the ability to transform
into the opposing Pokemon and copy its
moveset. And this mesmerizing ability is
available in the game, allowing players to
have fun with it. That is if you find Ditto in
Pokemon Go.

Ditto is extremely hard to encounter in the

wild, and the evidence for it is the low
chance of seeing Ditto in the wild, which is
below 3%. You may have seen Ditto, not as
itself, but as other Pokemon and it will
reveal itself once you successfully catch
the Pokemon. Plus, there is a Shiny Ditto
too. Now, the interesting fact is that shiny
Ditto is permaboosted and the chances of
encountering shiny Ditto are 1/64.

Now, as you already know Ditto can’t

transform into a Shiny Pokemon. If the
encounter you have is with a Shiny
Pokemon, it does not matter if it is part of
the Ditto disguise list it will not turn into
Ditto upon catching it. However, there is a
slight chance of you encountering a non-
Shiny Pokemon and it turning into a Shiny
Ditto.
