research entitled “Effects of Teachers’ Error-Handling Practices on Students’ Attitudes in Mathematics.”
The specific research questions are the following.

1. What are the practices of high school teacher’ in handling students’ errors in Mathematics
classes?
2. What are the attitudes of high school students toward Mathematics?
3. How do teachers’ error-handling practices affect the students’ attitudes toward Mathematics?

In connection with this, may we request from your good office to allow us to conduct the validation of
our survey questionnaire in teachers’ error-handling practices and to pilot test the research instrument
which is the teachers’ error-handling practices survey questionnaire and the Attitude Towards
Mathematics Inventory (ATMI). We will conduct the pilot test on one of the class of the teachers who
validated our survey questionnaire.
