1. What is the title of your study?

Thank you mam for that question, The title of our study is PARENT
INVOLVEMENT AND ITS RELATIONSHIP TO THE ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE
AMONG THE GRADE IV PUPILS IN VENANCIO TRINIDAD SR. MEMORIAL
SCHOOL S.Y 2018-2019

2. Why did you choose this study?

- Thank you mam for that question, We chose this study because we would
like to know more about the influence of family background variables like
socioeconomic and educational status as well as the compositional factors such
as school environment, educational recommendation and transitions if this have
effect on student academic performance,specifically among grade 4 learners
since most parents earn for a living and support their children studies.

3. Who are your respondents?

- Thank you mam for that question , Our respondents are composed of 31
pupils of Grade IV section A in Venancio Trinidad Sr. Memorial School.

4. How did you choose your respondents?

- Thank you mam for that question, we chose our respondents based on the
total population of grade IV, Section A pupils in Venancio Trinidad Sr. Memorial
School.

5. What is the importance of your study?

- Thank you mam for that question ,The importance of our study is to
provide valuable insights on the individual and the implication of the study will
guide and produce an effective parenting in the next century.
 6. Who will benefit from your study?
- Thank you mam for that question, the following would benefit from the
current study, the students, parents, educators, school and the
researchers.

7. What is the difference between an operational and conceptual definition?

Operational definition is based on how the researchers used and
define terms while the conceptual definition is according to specific author
or writer.

8. Explain your research paradigm.

Thank you mam for that question ,the input frame contains the contains
parent involvement in terms of school event,formal parent involvement and
school leadership.Second is the types of parent involvement in terms of
parenting, communicating, volunteering, learning at home and decision making.
The throughput frame contains the evaluation on the relationship in terms
of objectives,data analysis,data collection and organization, questionnaire,
analysis of respondents to the parental involvement and academic performance
and statistical analysis.
The output box contains the non- significant relationship between the
parent involvement to the academic performance and school success of every
child.
9. Do you have a significant/ non-significant difference/ relationship in your out?

- Thank you mam for that question ,there is a Non-Significant relationship to
all variables of each category between the parent involvement and the student
academic performance
10. How did you choose the locale of your study?
-- Thank you mam for that question, We chose Venancio Trinidad Sr.
Memorial School, at Talisay as the locale of our study because it is a performing
school and we believe in the potential of the school as well as the selected pupils
that they can give us the necessary information we needed in our study.
11. Whose study was your reference?
- Thank you mam for that question, We get our study reference from Lilibeth
Bringuer and Girlie Rose Ordes of Tanauan City.
12. Did you copy the questionnaire “en toto” from your reference?
- Thank you mam for that question , No, not all , we revised our
questionnaire.

13. Did you include your answers on Questions 10-12 in your scope and
delimitation?
` - Thank you mam for that question ,Not all, the scope and deliminatiomof
the stidy answers the locale and the purpose of the study.

14. How did you test the validity of your questionnaire?

Thank you mam for that question, to establish the validity of the
questionnaire our adviser checked it and after that we chose three expert along
the line job to evaluate the item framed according to content and purpose. There
were suggestion from the validators that made some changes to our
questionnaire. The final drop of the questionnaire was finalized and prepared the
needed copies for the distribution to the respondents.

15. How did you test the reliability of your questionnaire?

- Thank you mam for that question, the questionnaire was tested in Quiling
Elementary school. After one week it was retested in the same school which was
not the locale of the study. The result of the answer in the out try was statistically
analysed through Person Coeffecient of Correlation.

16. What instruments did you use in your study?

- Thank you mam for that question The instrument we used in our study is
the survey questionnaire.

17. Do you have an interview guide?

Thank you mam for that question, NONE
18. What Statistical treatment did you apply?
- Thank you mam for that question The statistical treatment did we applied in
the study are the WEIGHTED MEAN and T-TEST

19. Give an Example of one of your table in Chapter 4 and explain it.
Table 1.1 shows data regarding Pupils evaluation in Parent involvement in
school events of the Grade IV pupils of Venancio Trinidad Sr. Memorial School. It
is evident that the respondents agree on the indicators that, my parents support
school activities and events rank as 1st with a Weighted Mean of 4.97 and
Descriptive Interpreted as Always .The indicator my parents give time for school
rank as 2nd which receives a Weighted mean of 4.87 and Desciptive interpreted as
Always. My parents attend any school activities is in the 3 rd rank with a weighted
mean of 4.81 and descriptive interpreted asAlways. Rank as 4 th with a Weighted
Mean of 4.61 ang Descriptive interpreted as Alwaysis my parents are active in
school programs and rank 5th is my parents participate in school events with a
weighted Mean of 4.52 and descriptive interpreted as Always.

20. How many conclusions/ recommendations do you have?

Thank you mam for that question, We have four conclusions and four
recommendations.

21. How did you arrive at your conclusions/recommendations?

- Thank you mam for that question , we arrived our conclusion based on the
findings of the study while the recommendation was drawn from the foregoing
findings and conclusions.
