Since the school had no registered name during that time, they called
a pulong-pulong of all the residents who were all natives and illiterates. The
people agreed to name the school VALDEMOR PRIMARY SCHOOL in honor
of the two prominent leaders Valdehueza and Moritcho. “VALDE” came from
Valdehueza, and “MOR” was derived from Moritcho.
In 1950’s, Marcos Type building was built with three classrooms and
three teachers were hired handling combination classes. In 1970, the
Marcos Building Type was demolished for it was an old building and was a
risk to the lives of the school children. It was followed by a Gonzales
Building in 1970’s with 3 classrooms. It still existed up to the present. This
school became a complete elementary school with 3 classroom teachers and
1 School Incharge.
In 1985, peace and order was disrupted because of the attack of the
NPA against the Philippines Military. This caused the massive evacuation of
the residents and now permanently transferred to the highways. That is
why until this time, Valdemor Elementary School remains a school with
combination classes because of the low population although peace and
order turned to normal already.
