TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE

If your system is not functioning properly, please follow our checking procedures to determine if there is a genuine
fault.

(A) When the compressor does not operate:

1. Check whether power is switched "On" or "Off" from the indoor unit control.

2. Check whether the power circuit breaker has tripped off.

3. Check thermostat setting. If thermostat setting is greater than room

temperature, compressor will be off.

4. Check for loose electrical connections.

(B) When compressor is operating but cooling is insufficient:

1. Check whether air filters located in the fan coil unit are dirty or blocked.

2. Check whether the airflow of the fan coil unit is restricted.

3. Check whether there is an increase in the number of people in the room.

4. Check whether all the doors and windows are closed properly.

(C) When condensing unit is not operating:

1. Check whether power is switched "On" or "Off" from the indoor unit control.

2. Check whether the power circuit breaker has tripped off.

3. Check wiring between indoor and outdoor units according to electrical

schematics.

4. Check voltage supply.

(D) When system is noisy:

1. Check whether unit is securely mounted.

2. Check whether there is excessive piping vibration. Support where required.

3. Check whether unit is mounted with vibration isolators.

4. Check whether panels are fastened securely.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS

Please refer to the Electrical Connection diagram illustrated in the relevant fan coil/air handler installation manual when connecting
the indoor to the outdoor unit.

NOTE: The electrical schematic diagrams are located on the inside of the top panel.
