FOR STAND ALONE 
Processor:     Pentium 4 or higher  
Operating System (OS):      Windows 98, ME, XP, 2000, Vista, 7, (32 bit, 64 bit); MAC OS 9 and 10 
                                                  (Requires Windows Emulation   Software for MAC OS 10) 
Minimum Memory Requirement:    At least 128 MB   RAM for Windows 
Free Hard Disk Space:  100 MB 
Others:  DVD Drive 
 
  MAC OS X or higher: 
1. Purchase Virtualization software: 
a. “VMWare  Fusion”  –  well  supported  by  MAC,  allows  quick  switching  between  MAC  & 
Windows.  We do not carry that software, but we were informed that it’s around P5,000. 
That’s a good investment as it allows seamless use of Windows applications on your MAC, 
not just Lex Libris. 
b. Purchase  Parallel  Desktop  software  –  they  can  partition  their  computer  so  that  they  will 
install  Windows  and  MAC  and  will  switch  between  two  Operating  Systems.  Windows 
installer has to be supplied by the client, and they will install the Windows first before we 
install Lex. 
2. Purchase Bootcamp ‐ a software / emulator – restart needed to function, unlike Parallel Desktop 
which will run without restarting the Macbook. Windows installer needed (like No. 2). 
3.  Mac OS X Tiger Power PC – OS IX compatible, so if they can get OS IX from their Apple store, we 
can run CD Asia products on it. No need to install virtualization software or emulator. 
4. Mac OS X Leopard & newer version – not compatible with OS IX, so clients with this version have 
to avail of Options 1 to 3.
