English As A Global Language
English As A Global Language
The history goes back to the XVth century when the colonization of
America was being taken and English as the language was spreading
around the world, this led to many variations of it and influences in other
languages. Later on Britain and the U.S gained power and so did the
language, because of its dominance over the cinema, television, popular
music, trade, and technology (including the Internet) throughout the
years, it made English even more universal!! It became the leading
language in business, science, literature, politics, diplomacy,
entertainment, and many more areas and industries.
English has now become a part of many countries, peoples and cultures,
so learning it would obviously lead people to many opportunities and
experiences all around the world. In fact, international business and
relationships aren’t the only benefits from learning it, recent studies have
shown that there are many other benefits and improvements in your
brain for learning a new language.
So, if you're unsure about acquiring a new language just keep in mind its
advantages as you study, knowing that you’re not only learning an
admirable new skill, or creating new laboral or academic possibilities,
you’re also fundamentally and physically improving your mental health.
