Loughborough University

1. I chose this university because university ranking sites on the internet

rate it as the best university for sports-related subjects in the world!
By far. I like it is in England because I'd like to travel there. I love
England, I love English football and I would like to improve my
English there.

2. General entry requirements vary depending on the country in which

the applicant studied. For students taking the Czech Maturita
(Vysvědčení o Maturitní Zkoušce), they typically require an average
ranging from 2.00 to 1.00 from best 4 subjects with specific subject
marks (either 1 or 2) required for some courses. All courses are in
English.

3. What interested me about the city is that, although it is two and a half
times larger than Hradec Králové, it has approximately 30,000 fewer
inhabitants. The reason is those typical British semi-detached and
terraced houses, which are literally all over the city. I love them. No
tall blocks of flats. I like that the city is close to even bigger cities
like Derby, Nottingham, Leicester or even the huge Birmingham.
The local culture can be felt at every step. In addition to the
monuments in the surrounding towns, I would definitely visit the
Parish Church of All Saints in Loughborough – on the foundations of
the 12th and 13th centuries. And of course, I would attend the
football matches there! It's a pity that out of the four mentioned
surrounding cities, the Premier League is played only in Leicester
nowadays.

4. From the point of view of the fact that I chose a sports field and
a sports university, then definitely sports areas. So many pitches and
options, outdoor, indoor, grass surface, artificial grass, hard surface,
soft surface and much more... Wow. I'm just looking at those pictures
with my mouth open. I will also improve my English there quite
quickly and more effectively than here in the Czech Republic. Of
course. I also like to get to know a different style of teaching,
studying and life.
