Beatitude Assignment

 Camelia Ursu is a talented, outgoing person. She was born the fourth of
July 2002, in Moldova, Europe. Cami, as we call her, has been an
academic achiever and has played part in many volunteering centers as
well as groups.

About She is studying to be a Pediatric Oncologist and is in her third year of

university. Camelia works in a lab most of the time researching and testing on
this little creatures called zebrafish. On the weekends she works as a Team Lead
Science Guide at the TELUS Spark Science Centre. There, she teaches children

person about the wonders of science and puts on great shows dealing with chemistry.

I have seen most of them, as I do volunteer there myself. My favorite one of

hers is a show about fire interacting with different chemicals, thus, making
the fire change colors. When she isn't at the Science Centre or the lab, she
volunteers at a palitative and end of life hospital for kids. There she plays
with little children and infants.
 Camelia enjoys Reading and writing. She wrote
a full published book at the age of nine. She
enjoys communicating with people and playing
with little children, hence, the reason she wants
to be a Pediatric Oncologist. She has won many
scholarships and received many academic
Hobbies & awards. When she graduated high school she
was top of her class in the IB program which is

Achievements an international program. She received the

Governor's award for her academics and was
one of the top ten students in the province of
Alberta on her diploma exams. She is in her
third year of University and hopefullywill be
going into medical school next year.
 Beatitude similarity
Beatitude: Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
Typically, this beatitude means blessed are those who are kind and loving. It means
that those who do not sin and keep their hearts pure are the ones that will go to
heaven and see God.
My sister exemplifies many of the beatitudes but I chose this beatitude because it
seems like the most accurate one. Cami is always kind and loving to everyone. No
matter her troubles or hardship, she always finds time to pray and connect with
God. Camelia is a walking example of tenderness. From her jokes all the way to her
advice, she is simply always there to make you feel better about everything.
 Beatitude similarities Part II
No matter what comes her way, Camelia always stays positive. It doesn't
matter if something gets in her way. She doesn't turn around, instead she
builds a ladder and climbs over the obstacle. Camelia demonstrates this
Beatitude because she stays pure and humble. She turns away fro sin no
matter how high the temptation may seem. Her presence itself makes the
room seem to glow. Even when the world folds upon itself and turns bad, she
stays good. She is the constant in a life of variables. I admire the way she
overcomes struggles and manages to stay pure and kind. In other words, She is
simply everything I want to be.
 What can she teach us?
