Chinook Tribe
The usual climate of the
Chinook tribe was mild and
rainy. The warm ocean currents
brought warmer temperatures
year round. Over 100 inches of
rain a year fell where the
Chinook tribe was located
The chinook people lived
on the coast of the
Columbia river to the
Dalles. The region has
mountains, rivers, coasts,
and some thick evergreen
forests. They also had lots
of flatland with no hills.
