 FT rate
 Want to be top-10 in country
 TO rate
 Want to be top-5 in country
o Quality Shots
 Time/Score
 Have you made it consistently in practice?
 Was it the “best” shot?
o Best Scorers
 Green Light license
 Practice Earned
 Game Maintained
o Scoring Zones
 In the Paint
 At the FT Line
 Beyond the Arc
o Tactics
 Transition  Race/Space  Flow  Action  Family  Rebound
 Race and Space
o What happens the second we get the ball?

o If you don’t do your job 2 straight times, he assumes you are tired or disengaged and takes you out
o Flow into Motion or into a specific Action (Set)
 Positions

o Racker
 Try to take the ball to the rim
 Catch, turn & immediately look up the floor
 Identify a back peddler or a mismatch
 Push the ball up the sideline
 Rack it  Rabbit  Lock
o Rabbit
 Rim runner
 Has to be comfortable not getting the ball every time
 Run through the nail (don’t pass it to them beyond the nail)
 If defense is back, will utilize her to set a quick step-up for the Racker (high up the floor)
o Lock
 Running the wide lanes all the way to the corner
 If the Lock gets a rebound, they still dribble to their lane rather than changing roles with the rabbit
 Do not look for the ball until you hit halfcourt
 If there is a defender back, they won’t turn until FTLE
o Don’t want to throw it to them early with nothing to do – keep ball in Racker’s
hands
o Dragon
 Always last of the 10 players across half court
 Have to be very disciplined
 Have to have a wide skill set
 Late drags, late trail 3s (defense forgets about the last player down the floor)
 Outlet Zone

o Only pass allowed in this zone is the outlet

o Only pass ahead to a better ballhandler
o Handoff is your safety
 Decision Zone

o Rabbit is only person who should look for ball

o Locks only peak if ahead of everyone
o RACE to your SPACE
o Racker read Up the Street, Rabbit, Across the Street
o Dragon is last one into and out of the zone
 Action Zone

o Pass to Rabbit before the nail

o Rack it
o Up the Street
o Cross the Street
o Dragon
 Actions
o Racker = Racker takes it all the way and scores or penetrates themselves
o Over the Top = Racker hits the Rabbit (ideally around the FT line and not deeper)
o Step-Up = if defense is back, Rabbit sets a step-up screen high up the floor for the Racker
o Up the Street = Racker looking to throw it up the sideline to the Lock
o Across the Street = Racker changes sides of the floor with the dribble in the Decision Zone
o Dragon = reversing the ball through the trailer (Dragon); can also play PNP
o 1-2 Rub = wing DHO to the Lock
o 1 Thru = Racker passes to Dragon and cuts thru to opposite corner to open up a double gap
o 5 Thru = Dragon make blur cut to create double gap for Racker
o Twirl Side = Racker DHO to Lock followed by spread BS from Rabbit (often with Dragon setting a
weakside pindown for the other Lock to occupy the help)
o Flash = Rabbit flashed to TOK to receive pass and get into Delay action
o Move = Dragon cuts to opposite corner, Rabbit crosses the floor and DHO to weakside Lock, Rabbit
follows for spread BS
o Clear = Rabbit says spread BS for Racker, weakside
