leaves facilitates healing by lessening pain, swelling and inflammation. The

So in preparation for making guava as a herbal medicine as a decoction boil
fresh cup of guava leaves in three to four cups of water for 10 minutes. Strain
the decoction and let it cool.

Now using the decoction preparation you may also use it as an antiseptic
wash for treating wounds. Wash the wounds or the affected area atleast twice
a day.

For mouthwash gargle the guava leaves decoction as needed you can also
grind the leaves into paste, for treating gums swelling and tooth decay.

For skin disorders apply the poultice onto the affected area with a cotton ball
