You’ll Own Nothing: The War on Private Property

The most striking scene for me is when the narrator said that the government of Ireland wants the
elderly people who are living in the large house should be move into a smaller house for them to
be able to pay smaller taxes because of incentives and the for those big family to have a
comfortable living. For me this is kind of policy is not fair and too much because why should the
owner of the house moves into another house or smaller if they are the one who owned it.
Because they can\t pay taxes or because their government wants to provide the bigger family a
comfortable and enough living? The government are the one who should need to provide a
comfortable shelter for those families. They should consider that the house of the elderly is from
or their family scarifies just to have a good and comfortable shelter.

The first dialogue that caught my attention is when the narrator said that the government of
Ireland wants to move the elderly people who live in large house into a smaller house for them to
be able to provide a shelter for bigger family who don’t have owned a house. Also, for the
elderly who owned a house to pay smaller taxes because they have smaller house or property. I
found this part as not fair for the owner because that was, they own a property.

The second scene is when the narrator explained the difference between the housing and having
an own house. It made me realize that they are almost the same because when you are renting a
house you are paying for the monthly house rent while when you are owning a house you are
paying a monthly tax that are almost the same with people who are paying monthly. For me it
is okay to owned a house because it is less on the bills that we are paying and if we owned a
house we are having a permanent address because unlike those who don’t have property they are
paying a rent, utility bills and also don’t have a permanent address.
