TOPIC:The extended family is less important now than it was in the past. IS IT ‘AGREE OR DISAGREE’ ?

There is a widely held belief in modern times that extended family is not important. l totally agree with
this statement because in recent days it is difficult to support and live at IN the same house with
extended family and living together is extremely risky due to coronavirus. DON’T GIVEN tooooo specific
element in the INTRODUCTION!

The main reason why l am of this view is that you will need a large home to live with your family. If you
live in a small house, nobody will have their personal areas to work in. In the past there were not
enough houses to live for people. Therefore, they used to live in a house with their all relatives.
However, in modern time every body has home. A good example of this is my dad: although we have a
nuclear family now, he had an extended family in the past. My dad always talks about the disadvantages
of their large family. Like what? Talk about lack of space in the example not other topic.

Another key point is that as family members increase, so does the risk of contracting coronavirus. To be
more specific, we would have to divide if we had extended family. To illustrate, our neighbors stayed
with their relatives until the government separated them because one of their coronavirus tests was
positive.

I wouldn’t talk about coronavirus in this topic because extended family topic expects you to think about
the social and financial drawbacks of it.

You can either partially agree as well but you don’t need to change your position from total agreement
to partial agreement.

My other agreement point would be about financial problems. Another cogent reason is that it is
difficult to meet the needs of a large family. For example, in comparison with small families, the utility
expenses of small families are relatively high in extended homes.

In conclusion, it is said that large family is not so important now, it wasas essential as in the past. l am of
the mentioned though as it is hard to live in that situation and there is a coronavirus infection.because
of living space and growing expenditures.
