Backwards Blending Students will practice blending long U words


3 Minutes through backwards blending.

They first will see and say the long U sound.

They then will practice blending the word as


phonemes are added.

Dictation Practice Students will practice writing a series of


10 minutes words with long U sounds.

Echo Reading Students will practice reading aloud through


10 minutes echo reading while following along with the
book on the board.
