II. Session Outline
Session Title: Fables
Session At the end of the session, learners will be able to:
Objectives: a) identify grammatical errors from songs;
b) recognize subject-verb-agreement rules;
c) use SVA rules in completing and reading sentences; and
d) apply correct-subject verb agreement in writing reflection.

III. Teaching Strategies


Components Duration Activities and Procedures
Activity: Singing
Materials: TV, Laptop, Video
 The learners will be asked of their favorite songs.
 The teacher will show a lyric video of the song Love
Yourself by Justin Bieber.
A. Pre-reading 10 mins  The teacher will ask the learners the following
questions:
1. From the video, what grammatical errors
can you find? How can we correct it?
2. Is there any subject-verb agreement
error?

Activity: Read Aloud


Materials: TV, Laptop, PPT
 The teacher will introduce subject-verb agreement
rules.
B. During Reading 30 mins
 Each student will be asked to stand and read
aloud the sentences on the screen while
identifying the correct verb to be used.

Activity: Checking Your Understanding


Material: Reflection Journal
 The learners will be asked to write down a part of
lyrics from their favorite song.
C. Post-reading 10 mins  The learners will check if the song lyrics adhere to
the SVA rules.
 Then, they will share their findings to their seat
partner.

 The learners will answer the following questions in
