Nano mill Zeta® RS
 WM US had success selling an APEX20 to PIDC in
Innovation in Wet Grinding
Technology
Livonia Ann Arbor, MI.
They produce Nano powders and catalysts used in
emission controls in the Automotive Industry.
 The pump is running at 85 RPM, delivering 727 l/h
(3.2 GPM) of abrasive slurry to a Netzsch Media
Mill. Max discharge pressure of 3,5 bar (50 psi).
We replaced a PC pump on this application. The
customer was seeing significant wear and enduring
costly down time due to rebuilding the PC pump.
We competed with other hosepumps for this
application and the competitively priced APEX
pump won. It handles the abrasive slurry very well
and PIDC is very happy with the hose life. The
pump has been in service for 6 months with no
hose changes.
