‫ شيخ اسمه نعمان‬،‫ مدينة النور واألمجاد‬،‫ أبھى عواصم البالد‬،‫كان في بغداد‬ ™
.‫يتاجر في التمور والجياد‬
There was in Bagdad, the brightest capital in the world, the city of light and
glory, a sheikh called Nu’maan, who traded in dates and horses.

‫ أحضر الشيخ لولده منذ الطفولة أفضل‬.‫وكان له ولد اسمه عبد الرحمن‬ ™
.‫المؤدبين و المدرسين فحفظ علوم الحياة و الدين‬
He had a son called Abdurrahmaan. The sheikh brought to his son the best
teachers since he was very young, so he learnt the knowledge of life and
religion.

.‫كان يصحبه معه ليتعلم منه إدارة أمالكه و تجارته‬ ™

He used to accompany his son to teach him how to manage his properties and
his business .

‫ فظن أن الوقت‬،‫حين بلغ عبد الرحمن الخامسة عشرة من العمر استدعاه والده‬ ™
.‫قد حان ليسلمه إدارة التجارة و األموال‬
When Abdurrahmaan reached 15 his father called him, so he thought it was time
to give him a chance to manage the business.
