LESSON 1

WHAT IS NEW:

1. The more you read, the more clear the image of our universe becomes. We are
dazed by the lie of surrounding us in the event that we need insight. How could
we live calmly and straightforwardly in this world in the event that we can't
perceive how hopeless we are behind the bars of double dealing? We are free
and we have the information to defend what is simply and our individual rights.
We can't see the worth of ourselves in this universe until we have understanding.
We are subjugated by misdirection. To sum up all that has been said up until this
point, instruction is essential.

WHAT’S MORE:

1. Introduction: Lack of water access in the Philippines

Topic Sentence: The percentage of people who has no access to water, places
with water shortage.
Source: World Health Organization, (2020), 1 in 10 people in
the Philippines still do not have access to improved water sources, but the
government is working to achieve universal coverage for water by 2028.
2. Introduction: Flooding in the Philippines.
Topic Sentence: Places prone to flooding, how people overcome it, percentage
of places in the Philippines prone to flooding.
Source: Warren, (2000), The Philippines generally and
Metro Manila specifically is a city prone to flooding by its very nature
and locality.
3. Introduction: Philipppines Water Crisis
Topic Sentence: Percentage of people experiencing water crisis
Source: UNICEF( 2017), In the Philippines, 91% of the
country’s estimated 100.7 million population have access to at least basic water
services; but access is highly inequitable across the country, with
regional basic water services access ranging from 62% to 100%. Around
99% of the one-fifth wealthiest households are more likely to have access
to basic water services; while only 80% of the poorest quintile do.

BODY: MAIN POINT

Source 1: World Health Organization found out that 1 in 10 people doesn’t have any
access to water supplies.

Source 2: Warren found out that Philippines as a country is generally prone to floods.

Souce 3: UNICEF found out that there are more than 10% in the population of citizen in
the Philippines doesn’t have any access on basic water supply.

BODY: Similarities

UNICEF and WHO agreed that a lot of people in the Philippines have no access to
basic water supply.

BODY: Difference

UNICEF said that poor people are more prone to water scarce while WHO never
mentioned anything about economy status.

CONCLUSION:

- This writing survey is to show and investigate the number of individuals are
enduring in absence of water supply in the Philippines
- Further research is required o inspect late insights on individuals experiencing
water scant and to offer a potential answer for this issue.

WHAT I CAN DO:

The RRL segment on books, diaries and so on are frequently seen on the last
page. A writing survey looks at existing material in a specific subject field, just as data
announced inside a specific time interval. A writing audit might be pretty much as plain
as a rundown of references, yet it regularly follows a design that incorporates both
outline and union.

LESSON 2

WHAT’S NEW:

There is a point in our life where we are truly trinkets to know how things ended
up being how they are today and as a developing young person I am available to new
learning and understandings. At the point when circumstances such as this happens to
me innovation is a major assistance, when I need to find out about something I simply
search through online stages, for example, google and Mozilla firefox they offer
assortment of information for clients and I have taken in a great deal from it, without
innovation I would have to look on books from the library and some other handheld
sources yet innovation makes everything simpler for me.

(A biostimulant is an organic material) that, when applied in small quantities, enhances

plant growth and development such that the response cannot be attributed to the
application of traditional plant nutrients (Sharma et.al., 2011).

Part 2

Paraphrase 1, since it did not remove the key words such as the organic part, the
sentence structure is also far from the original text but has the same context and
meaning which is good.

Part 4

The Philippines is a predominantly agricultural country. Nonetheless, productivity

is dwindling as a result of the economic downturn. The country now has a population of
over a hundred million people, with the majority of Filipinos suffering from malnutrition
(Briones, et al, 2017). Building more sustainable, resilient, and responsive food systems
should be a major focus. Organic, sustainable, or environmentally friendly methods
have become increasingly popular in recent years (Sanchez Jr, F. C., et al, 2015).

WHAT I CAN DO:

More than 6 million people have been affected by a water shortage in large areas
of the  Philippine capital and a nearby province, with long queues forming for rationed
water, and businesses and some hospitals struggling to cope after taps ran dry (Agnow
M., 2019)

Water shortage is not a new problem in the Philippines. In 2019, the WHO
reported that at least one out of 10 people in the country still do not have access to
high-quality water sources (Manriquez L., 2020)

94 percent of Filipino families have access to improved water sources, and

around 77 percent of these families do not implement additional water treatment
processes to guarantee the safety of their water sources (Saimon N. K., 2020)
While water is key in responding to the challenges of the pandemic, water is not
available to everyone, particularly in urban poor settings and rural areas of developing
countries (Tolentino Jr. A., 2020)

In 2016, one of the top 10 leading causes of death in the Philippines was acute
watery diarrhoea, claiming over 139 000 lives (WHO, 2019)
