Observe rules and regulations:

I haven’t been called to China due to Corona Virus rules and regulations. Therefore I have no
knowledge of the rules and regulations for campus ground and external environment meaning
outside the Shenyang Jianzhu University campus. There are some rules and regulations
during online class while using Tencent classroom; and I have readily complied and
complying them without any glitch. And also for classroom rules and regulations: like being
on time for class or not speaking without the teacher’s permission, I am readily complying all
of them.
Due to Corona Virus rules and regulations, I have not been summoned to China. As a result, I
am unaware of the rules and regulations governing campus grounds and the external
environment, i.e. the area outside the Shenyang Jianzhu University campus. There are some
rules and regulations that must be followed during online classes using Tencent Classroom,
and I have easily complied with them and continue to do so. I also follow all of the classroom
rules and regulations, such as arriving on time for class and not speaking without the teacher's
permission.
Academic performance:
I am consistent on my class attendance. I have no difficulty following the way the teacher
presents the material. I have no any communication problem with my advisor or my teachers.
I am often engaged, attentive, focused, and thoughtful during all class times. I am attentive &
respectful listening to others' remarks. I have written some literature review, scientific paper
and experimental design during my first semester. It’s good if teachers use homework or
assignments for each lesson sessions so that the student will get more knowledge and dwell
on what he/she learnt on that session and also it’s useful for grading system, most professors
use this method so it helps to determine my academic performance so I really appreciate it. I
have got knowledge on Chinese language (Mainly through Pinyin type) and I want to expand
it if it is possible to know more Chinese words and know the language. I am working to
improve my academic performance to the peak by improving on the aspects that I believe am
lacking depending on what I have achieved on my last semester. The aspects that I have
selected are knowing the resources available to me (since am outside of China, there is not
much resources for the courses), connect with classmates and learn good study habits. For the
first two I need the university’s’ cooperation but the last one solely lies on me. I will improve
my academic performance by working on this things.
I am a regular attendee in class. I have no trouble following the teacher's presentation of the
material. I don't have any communication issues with my advisor or teachers. Throughout the
course of the day, I am frequently engaged, attentive, focused, and thoughtful. I am attentive
and respectful when listening to the comments of others. During my first semester, I wrote a
literature review, a scientific paper, and an experimental design. I have some knowledge of
the Chinese language (mostly through Pinyin) and would like to expand it if it is possible to
learn more Chinese words and the language. I'm working hard to raise my academic
performance to the next level by focusing on the areas where I believe I'm falling short based
on my results from the previous semester. Knowing the resources available to me (since I am
outside of China, there are few resources for the courses), connecting with classmates, and
learning good study habits are the aspects that I have chosen. The first two require the
cooperation of the university, but the last is entirely on my shoulders. Working on these
things will help me improve my academic performance.
Participation in activities:
I am taking my courses on online from Ethiopia therefore I can’t participate on external
activities. But, I had participated in all my classroom activities and am doing so right now
too. I wanted to participate on Chinese Bridge culture but it was apparently for Europe
students and the time overlaps with the course I had took so sadly I couldn’t participate. But
if there are any activities for international scholarship students that do not overlap with my
courses and are available for all, I am very happy to participate on them. So I would like to
ask the Shenyang Jianzhu University to create such opportunities. I would like to participate
as many as possible if am called to china.
Because I am taking my courses online from Ethiopia, I am unable to participate in
