CONSTRUCTION METHODS
1.0. INTRODUCTION
A pre-construction conference is to be conducted before the start of the project together with the
Project Engineer, Materials Engineer, and Planning Engineer both in the government and the
contractor. A Quality Control Program is to be submitted and discussed during the said
conference.

2.0. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF CONTRACT WORKS

3.0. CONSTRUCTION METHODS AND PROCEDURES

3.1. Construction Methods and Procedures


Mobilize all equipment as per contract to the project site. Layout will be done together
with the project engineer of the government. All construction materials used must
conform to the required DPWH Standard specifications Requirements. All testing must be
performed at the project site to ensure good quality and satisfactorily passed the tests.
The approved plan must be followed. The project engineer of the government from time
to time must supervised and checked the contractor's work as to the approved
specification and plan. Pouring permit must be approved by the project engineer of the
government before concrete pouring activities. The Materials and Project Engineer of the
contractor must be at the project site to ensure good quality of the project.

3.2. Program Of Work


The item of works in the contract must be done based on the approved program of work
of the government. The accomplishment of the project must be closely monitored based
on the bar chart and s-curve to avoid negative slippage of the contract project.

3.3. Financial Progress


The progress billing will be in accordance to the actual accomplishment performed
monthly.
