SUBJECT: CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS UPDATE

PROJECT: PROPOSED SEMITEC CANTEEN BUILDING
LOCATION: LOT 7, BLK 1, PH 2, PEZA, ROSARIO, CAVITE

The following summary of work includes construction progress from August 21st to September 21st , 2020.

1. Status of Work Tasks

a. Renovation of Guardhouse
- Extension for the locker area is built. Building foundations and slabs are poured. Existing
window openings are covered. Beam is scheduled to complete within the next few days and
installation of trusses shall commence.

b. Construction of New Canteen Building

- Building foundation are poured. Frameworks and rebars are formed at the existing
canteen building.

c. Covered Walkway –
- Formworks are done off-site and will be delivered once work will start. Work shall
commence by the first week of October.
d. Fence
- Layout of fence is done. Work shall commence once excavated work from the other is
backfilled.

Contract completion Date: January 21, 2021
Contractor’s Estimated Completion Date: December-January
Total Overall % of Work: 25%
Reason for Delay: Manpower

Comments:

 A Progress Chart is provided that represents percentage of completion as it relates to the required,
scheduled and actual completion dates.
 Based on the progress observed, it appears that the project is

because of the pandemic takes time.
 Based on the progress observed, the renovation of existing guard house is ahead from its timeline.
The construction of new canteen building is managing to comply with the given timeline. Projected
completion date of December-January is what the contractor is targeting.

 3. Mitigation Measures
Contractor has put out measures such as employing more personnel and working overtime shifts.
4. Conclusion/Recommendation
The overall project progress stands at 25% against 30%. The contractor has set programs to
increase labor/personnel and introducing overtime on selected activities to ensure that the delays
are worked over in the stipulated time frame.
