Job Summary

The Tooling and Infrastructure as Code Engineer will be responsible for designing,
implementing, and maintaining the organization's tooling and infrastructure automation
systems. They will work closely with other cloud platform staff to ensure that the
organization's infrastructure is maintained and managed efficiently and effectively. Key
Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain the organization's tooling and infrastructure automation
systems using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline infrastructure
deployment and management processes.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and incident response procedures to
ensure rapid response to system and service issues.
• Collaborate with other cloud teams to design, implement, and maintain disaster recovery
and business continuity plans.
• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures to ensure the security of the
infrastructure and services.
• Stay up-to-date with new automation features and capabilities and recommend changes
or upgrades as needed.
• Provide guidance and training to other cloud staff on automation best practices and
procedures.

• Develop and maintain documentation related to the tooling and automation systems.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tooling and infrastructure automation, with a focus
on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Terragrunt or Terraform.

• Experience in scripting languages: Python, shell, PowerShell.

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure is preferred.

• Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, are
preferred.
