Job Title: Information Technology (IT) Specialist

Job Summary: The IT Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and administering the
company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems. They will
also provide technical support and training to employees as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, including servers,
workstations, printers, and peripherals.
• Monitor and maintain network systems, including firewalls, routers, switches, and
wireless access points.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various systems and
applications.
• Provide technical support to end-users and troubleshoot issues related to hardware,
software, and network systems.
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure data security, system
reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Identify and evaluate new technologies that could benefit the company and make
recommendations for their implementation.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions
that meet their specific needs.
• Provide training and support to employees on the use of technology systems and
applications.
• Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets and ensure they are properly
licensed and maintained.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure the
timely delivery of IT services and support.
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


• Proven experience as an IT Specialist or similar role.
• Experience with network and server administration, hardware and software
installation and maintenance, and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Familiarity with cloud computing, virtualization, and data backup and recovery
strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical
concepts to non-technical users.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Working Conditions:

The IT Specialist will work in an office environment and may be required to work extended
hours to complete projects or address technical issues. The position may require occasional
travel to other company locations or to attend training or industry events.
