Wonders of Ellipse
Pythagoras once said, “number is the ruler of forms and ideas, and the cause of gods and demons.”
Ellipse created our path to the new world where we are far from comprehending. We may ask, how far
does mathematics had brought us? Even into calculating a minute artifact to enormously as calculating
the heavenly bodies of the great unknown. Through ellipsis these are possible. Defined as the distance
between two points (foci) and each point on the line is constant.

Here are a few key points to consider, a symmetric axis exists in every ellipse. The main axis is the longer
of the two, whereas the minor axis is shorter. The foci are the two fixed locations on the major axis;
vertices are points on the main axis; and co vertices are points on the minor axis, which is a segment
perpendicular to the major axis.

To solve, we need to know that pf sub-one plus pf sub-two equals two a's, with the two f's being foci
and the p's representing points. The usual equation for an ellipse is “x” squared over “a” squared plus “y
“squared over “b” squared is equal to one. It's vital to remember that "a" must always be greater than
"b", and "c" is equal to the square root of " a" squared "b" squared. Furthermore, the conventional
equation is for when the center is at the origin and the major axis is horizontal. When the origin is not at
the center, the conventional equation is the quantity of “x “minus “h “squared over “a” squared plus
quantity of “y” minus “k” squared over “b” squared is equal to one. When a major axis is vertical, you
simply change the location the a and b.

We have the general form of the ellipses in addition to the usual equation. To change a general to a
standard equation, we must first group the same variable and transpose the constant. After that, the
square should be performed twice, with the coefficients of the squared terms factored out. Constants
should also be placed on the other side of the equation to make it equal. Finally, divide both sides by the
constant term and transform into perfect squares. Simplify if needed.

Ellipses have and have been of great importance to acquire new knowledge, especially on astronomy.
How fascinating it may be that it can calculate the distance, the bodies, and the existence of space its
self. I am Vianney Laplana and this is the wonders of ellipse.
