Is literature important to comprehend and not understand or both? Defend your answer.

In my perspective, it is both important to comprehend and understand literature. Through

comprehending and understanding it, I will be able to enhance my critical thinking skills since it since it is
quite challenging to fully grasp and digest the full extent of its context. In connection, critical thinking
skill is much needed in my life since I am an accounting student. As an accounting student, I am required
to be analytical most of the time. Moreover, with that skilled enhanced, we will be able solve real life
problems in a more critical manner. To sum it up, understanding and comprehending literature can
sharpen my analytical skill which makes it important.
