PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND INTENDED USE

This is a fully designed software intended to aid students, professionals, individuals, and
anyone who needs to manage their tasks more effectively and stay organized. The software is
a user-friendly and well-structured web app designed to help users to prioritize their tasks,
manage tasks effectively, use time wisely, and improve time management as well as
workflow.

The interface consists of a number of easy-to-navigate menus such as;

  User login system
 Create task, edit and delete.
 Number of active to-dos
 Completed to-dos function
 Active to-dos function
 Drag and drop function to rearrange to-dos
 Finally, the system has a light and dark option to enable users to switch
between light and dark modes.

PROBLEM DOMAIN
Traditionally, tasks are written on a piece of paper or in books. However, following
the massive transition of technology and its benefits, we have created a to do list
application to help users to manage and prioritize their tasks.

Users such as students, professionals and other individuals sometimes feel completely
overwhelmed with the amount of work they have to do and tend to forget things that
are very important. Therefore, having a list of everything needed to be done written
down in one place creates so much convenience. By prioritizing the tasks one can plan
the order of importance on how to get things done and see quickly what needs
immediate attention and what tasks can be left for later.

PROJECT USERS AND FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS

The application is intended for use by individuals who wish to manage and prioritize their
tasks effectively.
The application is basically a software to keep records of tasks. Users will be able to create,
edit and delete tasks. Users will also be able to switch between light and dark themes and also
be able to view all completed tasks and active tasks as well as sow the number of active tasks
left.

PROJECT NON-FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• SECURITY: The system is secured with a backend list of authenticated account login
details.

• Usability: The system has a friendly user interface that can be accessed by every on
who logs into the application. The system’s features are easy to use and understand.

• Performance: The system quickly responds to requests. With just a click of a button,
the system is able to create, add, edit, and delete tasks.
 • Technological Requirements: To run the system smoothly, the user needs an internet
connection, and a device to connect.
