Q1. How many moles of ammonia should be produced if 63.5 moles of nitrogen react with excess
hydrogen?

N2 + 3H2 ⇌ 2NH3

63.5 moles of nitrogen 2 moles of ammonia/1 mole of nitrogen=127 moles ammonia

Q2. How many grams of aluminum are produced in this reaction if 100.4 grams of aluminum oxide are
supplied? Report your answer using the correct number of significant figures.

2Al2O3 → 4Al + 3O2

100.4g AL2O3/(2x26.98 g/mol+3x16.00

g/mol) =2.61 moles AL2O3

2.61 moles Al2O3 4 moles Al/2 moles

Al2O3=5.22 Moles Al

5.22 moles Alx26.98 g/mol=140.2g Al

ANS: 140.2 g Al
Q3. Calculate the number of C, H, and O atoms in 1.50 g of glucose(C6H12O6), a sugar.

Carbon Atoms=3.01x10^22

Hydrogen Atoms= 6.02x10^22

Oxygen Atoms=3.01x ^22

Q4. How many moles of calcium (Ca) atoms are in 77.4g of Ca?

1.94

Q5. How many grams of gold (Au) are there in 15.3 moles of Au?

3014g gold
