Subbrand of Rolex – TUDOR

Swiss watchmaker Montres Tudor SA, also

known as Tudor, has its headquarters in Geneva.
The brand, which Hans Wilsdorf, the creator of
Rolex, registered in 1926, is still affiliated with
Rolex; both businesses are owned by the Hans
Wilsdorf Foundation. Initially, Tudor was well-
known for its timepieces made for the military
and specialized divers.
Many people continue to view Tudor as just the
more affordable alternative to Rolex, despite
Tudor's own accomplishments, such as:
 Tudor was a brand used by military organizations - Tudor was chosen as the
official watch of the Jamaican Defense Force, Canadian Navy, and United States
Navy due to its exceptional durability. Throughout the 20th century, the Marine
Nationale of France employed Tudor divers and even contributed to their
advancement.
 Tudor has used adventurous designs - Tudor's designs are more vibrant, catchy,
and distinctive than any other Swiss brand, in contrast to Rolex designs, which are
more traditional and change over many years.

Rolex was already well-known for the caliber and distinction of its products at that time
in every corner of the globe. Hans Wilsdorf, a visionary, created Tudor in an effort to
reach a wider audience with a high-quality product that was supported by the "parent
corporation." With it, he aimed to provide cutting-edge functionality and technology,
good design, a global distribution network, and first-rate after-sales support.

The Tudor logo's development over the past few decades is a super example of the brand's
development. Only the name Tudor, the name of the illustrious family that ruled England
for a long time, appeared on the emblem from the beginning in the 1920s. Finally, the
company released a number of technological pieces in 1969, and the rose was replaced
with just the shield, emphasizing the concepts of durability and dependability. Today,
this same shield is used to embellish the dial of the new Tudor watches, but it has been
stylized and given its noble letters so that it more closely resembles a coat of arms.
So, after that, is Tudor a good watch brand after Rolex?
Yes, is the simplest response to this query. Ever since the relaunch, Tudor has gotten
better and better, becoming a very well-known brand in its own right. The business is
expanding quickly, and it is steadily but surely becoming as a formidable rival in the
semi-luxury watch industry. But what makes Tudor such a fantastic watch company?
Here are some of the causes:
1. Value for Money - It is clear that Tudor delivers exceptional value for money
when compared to other watch producers in the same market. You may be sure
that the watch you get when you buy a Tudor is high-quality and beautifully
crafted.
2. Investment Potential - While watch aficionados once only bought their timepieces
as everyday wearables and collector's goods, buying a wristwatch as an investment
is growing in popularity. Tudor watches, like many other semi-luxury and luxury
watch manufacturers, can be a wise investment.

Finally, in terms of general, overall quality, Tudor watches are just as high-grade as Rolex,
and they also have excellent build quality. Additionally, fans can now rejoice in the
launch of an increasing number of internal Tudor motions.
