Week 1

(January 24-27, 2022)

My first week of on-campus teaching began with a Google Meet meeting with our

cooperating teacher, Mrs. Lovely Joy Simon. On our first day, she greeted us and informed us of

what to anticipate during our off-campus teaching at MMSU Laboratory School—Batac

Campus. During this week, she chose the student teachers who would teach the following week.

She also provided my co-student teachers with their topics and asked them to begin working on

their lesson plans so that she could check them for revisions. The assignment for those of us who

will not be teaching next week was to create a module for the fourth-graders. If you asked me

how I felt throughout this week, I would say that I was both anxious and excited. I anxious

because this will be my first time teaching them and excited since I will have the opportunity to

teach the intelligent and energetic pupils of Lab Elem. My first week as a student teacher was

productive. I am finally prepared and eager to see our pupils the following week.

Week 2

(January 31- February 3, 2022)

Our week started by meeting our students from the Laboratory Elem. On the first day of

the week, our co-student teachers started their demonstration teaching and even the following

day. After their demo teaching, we also gave our observations and suggestions. As for the pupils,

they are as active and intelligent as expected. I can see how happy my co-student teachers are

while they were teaching because of the active participation of the students. During this week
also, they made TOS for the summative test of the students. This week went well, our co-student

teachers demo teaching went well. I’m happy that they are done. We also happy because they

announced that finally, we’re going to have our have a limited face-to-face class. Although we

won’t still be seeing our students, at least we get to see our cooperating teacher and of course

some of our classmates after two year. Since we’re going to be with other sections also, I am

excited to meet new faces and make new friends.

Week 3

(February 7- 10, 2022)

This week is the most anticipated time for everyone. The first batch of student teachers

attended their first day of limited face-to-face instruction at MMSU Laboratory Elementary

School—Batac Campus. Our schedule will be for the next week. Our cooperating teacher has

already provided us with next week's lesson plans. Yes, our demo teaching is set for next week.

The lesson plan and PowerPoint presentation I created were then submitted for review.

Hopefully, there won't be any changes, so I can begin studying my lesson. Since we will not be

reporting in person this week, I have spent most of my time preparing for my demonstration

teaching and attending online classes. Our other student-teachers who reported to Batac also

shared their experiences with us. They have already met several of our classmates and made new

acquaintances in other sections. I cannot wait for the coming week.

Week 4

(February 14- 17, 2022)

Here we are, the most-anticipated week. We reported to Batac as planned. My teaching

demo is also scheduled for this week. On our first day, we began constructing the students'

corner, and on Tuesday, we will have our demonstration teaching. The first day flew by, and now

it's time for my demonstration teaching. I was really nervous when I first saw the Grade 4

students. But I prayed and assured myself I could do it. Thank God, I was able to successfully

deliver the lesson. I liked teaching the Grade 4 students because they are so brilliant and

energetic. I just implemented all I've learned from my previous demonstration teaching, which is

why I can say I did an excellent job on this one. This week, we also checked the performance

tasks provided by our students in the mVle. I was ecstatic when I checked their work and saw

that they had exerted effort in completing the assigned task. We also recorded the students'

grades. This week was challenging, but I really liked it. I was glad that, after two years, I was

finally able to return to school. As for my co-student teachers, they are incredibly welcoming,

even if this is the first time we have met. We have already shared some of our school

experiences, and I cannot wait for the memories we will build next week.
Week 5

(February 21- 24, 2022)

We did not report to Batac this week since it was the first group's turn to report.

Nonetheless, we completed the assignment given to us by our cooperating teacher, which was to

create TOS and summative exam questions for the Grade 4 students. As usual, class sessions

were conducted through Google Meet. After creating summative test questions, we submitted

them for review, and upon approval, we uploaded them into a Google form in preparation for

next week's summative test. The following week, it will be our time to report to school.

Week 6

(February 28- March 03, 2022)

This week began with administering the summative test for the Grade 4 students. After

taking the test, we created a list of the pupils who didn’t take the exam. For those who took the

test, we recorded their scores. For this week, we worked on the reviewing and checking of

submissions and recording of their grades. We completed checking their modules, and as for

their performance tasks, there are still some of the students who haven’t submitted their outputs,

so we need to remind them. We also had our time with our cooperating teacher in which we

spoke about topics like what to do after graduation and he provided us with some valuable

advice, most notably as we’re going to leave school soon and face the realities of life.
Week 7

(March 07-11, 2022)

This week, we designed enrichment activities to help the students comprehend or

completely grasp the previous lessons presented to them. We deliberated on how to make

students' learning more engaging and settled on using games. I can say that the pupils enjoyed

the activities and games we offered during class. In addition, we updated their scores in the

mVle, reviewed their submissions, and provided them with a list of their lackings so that they

could comply. We also put all of our activities, lesson plans, modules, and tests into a single file

for our cooperating teacher to evaluate.

Week 8

(March 14-17, 2022)

Our cooperating teacher told us that Mapeh Club activities are scheduled for this week.

Given that our cooperating teacher teaches Mapeh, her pupils will automatically participate in

the aforementioned activity. Among the contestable activities are face mask making, puppetry,

and a quiz bee. Our cooperating teacher gave us the activities that we would oversee, and the

Face Mask Making Contest was the one that was assigned to us. We administered the activity by

providing guidelines and monitoring the students' work. Many students participated in the stated

activity, which we also enjoyed. This week, our cooperating teacher also instructed us to create a
module for the next week, which would serve as our final output, as next week will be our final

week as student teachers in Lab Elem.

Week 9

(March 21-25, 2022)

This week marks the end of our time at the MMSU Laboratory Elementary School—

Batac Campus. We provided the final list of activities that have not yet been submitted by

students. We reviewed their modules and updated their mVle scores. In addition, we graded and

recorded their activities. We celebrated our last day at Lab Elementary by enjoying lunch with

our cooperating teacher. Additionally, we headed to Northstellar for our send-off party. Our

cooperating teacher gave us advice and tips that can be applied to our off-campus teaching.

There are many memories that we created at Lab Elem, and I will never forget each and every

one of them, regardless of the path I pursue in the future. I will always keep in mind and carry in

my heart all of the guidance and experience I acquired from this institution. As we leave this

school, we will carry with us the knowledge and skills we have acquired. Thank you, MMSU

Laboratory Elementary School, for the incredible learning opportunities.
