ICT AND DATA MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

1. Design and implement the operation of all computer systems, related applications, hardware, and
software;
2. Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware;
3. Safeguard and enforce the CDO-TVI’s compliance to Republic Act 10173 Data Privacy Act of 2012 and
other related policies and guidelines aimed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of
information;
4. Troubleshoot and resolve ICT related problems;
5. Train and update the CDO-TVI personnel on the use of programs and apps that will guarantee that they
productively use ICT in their instruction, trainings, and/or administrative tasks;
6. Provide support in the integration of ICT skills and use in the training programs offered (Ex. Flexible
Learning);
7. Offer workshops and seminars on Basic Computer Literacy and Digital Citizenship to the CDO-TVI
trainees;
8. Perform routine network, software, and hardware maintenance;
9. Prepare and report inventory and status reports of the ICT equipment and components;
10. Coordinate with the Registrar’s Office in the set-up, systems, and maintenance of the CDO-TVI trainees’
academic records;
11. Provide technical assistance in the set up TESDA-required ICT support such as but not limited to the
Biometric-Enabled Scholarship Registration System (BSRS), Training Management Info System (T2MIS),
and others;
12. Coordinate in the timely procurement of software, hardware, and network needs of CDO-TVI;
13. Prepare and submit reports to the VSA; and
14. Perform other related tasks as assigned by the higher officials.
