Aptitude Assessment Procedure

Bachelor International Management

Admission procedure:
• Please upload your application to Deggendorf Institute of Technology online by July
15 if you plan to start in October and by January 15 if you would like to start in
March (only entry to a higher semester).
• In addition to a university entrance qualification (e.g. High School Diploma or
Abitur), candidates for the Bachelor's Program in International Management will be
asked to take a test. This is to make sure, that all students are able to follow the
classes. It also reduces your risk of not being successful within our program.
• If English is not your first language, proof of English proficiency must be provided.
Further information can be found here: https://www.th-
deg.de/Studieninteressierte/Bewerbung/nachweissprachkenntnisse_deg_englisch.pdf
• If German is not your native language and you don’t have a certificate corresponding
to level A2, we will include German language as a subject in your studies.
• Official regulations defining admission requirements can be found in the "Statutes
Governing Aptitude Assessment”: https://www.th-deg.de/Studierende/Antraege-

Information regarding the qualification test:

• International Management students need passion, general knowledge and a basic
level of mathematical and logical skills. These are applied in various fields of
International Management, since parts of the program correspond to typical business
administration subjects (e.g. finance, logistics or accounting).
• We will send you an e-mail giving you access to an online sample test. This will
guarantee that you can adequately prepare for the test and that you know what to
expect.
• You can demonstrate your qualification by passing our test. The aptitude assessment
will be based on your test results (50%) and your average mark in the university
entrance qualification (50%).
• The test can be taken free of charge on our campus in Deggendorf. If you are unable
to attend the test in Deggendorf, an online test is available at your convenience. This
test is carried out by an external service provider and therefore a fee of 26 USD is
charged, which must be paid with an internationally recognized credit card at the
time of scheduling.
