Mera ek dost ek din bahut hin udas tha.

One day one of my friends was very sad.
Usne mujhse kaha, “ Agar English seekhna utna asaan
hota to har koi English bol raha hota.
He said to me, “If learning English were that easy,
everyone would be speaking English.
Maine use samjhane ki koshish ki aur kaha, “kuchh bhi
seekhna utna asaan nahi hota hai chahe khana pakana ho
ya ladkiyon ko patana .
I tried to make him understand and said, “Learning
anything is not that easy whether it is cooking food or
cajoling girls.
Ek samay tha jab main nachna enjoy karta tha.
There was a time when I used to enjoy dancing.
Kisi bhi party me nachna mujhe bura nahi lagta tha lekin
mera kisi party me nachna mere papa ko pasand nahi tha.
I didn’t mind dancing at any party but my father didn’t
like my dancing at any party.
Mera kisi ladki se baat karna meri maan ko pasand nahi
tha.
My mother didn’t like my talking to any girl.
 GERUND
Kisi cheez ko seekhna mere liye kabhi asaan raha hin nahi.
Learning anything had never been easy for me.
Main hamesha kisi ko impress karne ke bare me seekhna
chahta tha lekin kisi ko impress karna mere bas ki baat
nahi thi.
I always wanted to learn about impressing anyone but
impressing anyone was not my cup of tea.
Meri zindagi me ek aisa din aaya jab main khud ko kisi ko
impress karne se rok nahi paya.
Such a day came in my life when I couldn’t refrain myself
from impressing someone.
Uska baat baat par muskurana, kabhi kabhi mujhe gale se
lagana, mere joothe pani ko bina jhijhak ke pee jana
mujhe uska deewana banane laga.
Her smiling at any point, sometimes hugging me, drinking
the water sipped by me without any inhibition started
making crazy about her.
Mujhe uske saath samay beetane ki aadat si ho gayi thi.
I was used to spending time with her.
I had got used to spending time with her.
Ek din mujhe pata chala ki wo mujhse pyar nahi karti thi.
 GERUND
One day I got to know that she didn’t love me.
Use to sirf mere saath ghumna phirna aur mera uspar
paise kharch karna achcha lagta tha.
She liked only hanging out with me and my spending
money on her.

Main bhi dheere dheere usse baat karna avoid karne laga.
I also started avoiding talking to her gradually.
Maine uspar paisa kharch karna band kar diya aur khud ko
Dance seekhne me jhonk diya.
I stopped spending money on her and devoted myself
into learning dance.
Main har event me nachne laga.
I started dancing at every event.

Main do saal tak apne dance career par focus karta raha
aur aaj mere liye kisi bhi gane par nachna asaan hai.
I kept on focusing on my dance career for 2 years and
today dancing on any song is easy for me.
 GERUND
Maine dance seekhane ko apna routine bana liya.
I made teaching dance my routine.

Subah uthne ke baad aur sone se pahle main apne nachne

ki kala ko behtar karne ke bare me sochta hun.
After getting up in the morning and before sleeping, I
think about honing my dancing skill.

Ab meri hobby kisi ladki se baat karna nahi hai.

Now, my hobby is not talking to any girl.
Meri hobby sirf nachna hai.
My hobby is only dancing.
