What are the graduation requirements?

❖ Math: 3 years of a different math
❖ Science: 2 years (life and physical)
❖ World Language OR VAPA: 1 year
❖ Career: 1 year
❖ Health: 1 semester
❖ 2 years of PE
❖ Community Service: 40 hours

Credits = Passing Grades (A, B, C or D)


F in a required class = Summer School/Retake

Opportunities to retake failed classes are not always available.

UC- above a 3.0 GPA in required classes - that means A’s and B’s.

CSU- 2.5 GPA in required classes - that means A’s, B’s and C’s.

Service Learning Requirements

Total 40 Hours Required

Grad Recognition
Academic Honors (Sash)
- Minimum of a 3.5 total grade point average in 16 A-G courses
A-G (Cord)
- Completion of UC/CSU minimum requirements with a “C’ or better in each course
CTE Pathway Completion (Sash)

- Completion of a CTE Pathway sequence with a “C” average or better in pathway classes
Puente (Sash)
- 40 Hours of Service Learning
- Participate in 2 college events & 2 social/community events
Seal of Biliteracy (Metal)
- 2.0 minimum GPA in all ELA courses
- At or above “standard Met” on CAASPP
- A demonstration of proficiency in one or more languages other than English
Dual Enrollment (Sash)
- Successfully completed of at least 4 units of dual enrollment from Cypress or Fullerton College
- Units must include an educational planning and a career planning course (COUN)
