another video! For today’s video we are going to learn about
the proponents of electromagnetic waves.

Tevin: Its good to see all of you! Now that you are here let
us begin! All of you will answer three questions about
electromagnetic waves…
Abegail: And whoever guesses the correct answer earns a point!

Christina: The 5 proponents of electromagnetic waves are
Oersted, Ampere, Faraday, Maxwell and Hertz

Tevin: Next is Hanna and Cherie. For Hanna give me 3
principles of EM waves and for Cherie give me 2 principles.
Hanna: 1. Many natural phenomena exhibit wave like behaviors.
2. Light can be described as a wave.
3. EM waves travel at a speed of 3x108 m/s.

Cherie: 4. EM waves are transverse waves
5. When an oscillating particle accelerates, its electric
field changes too.

applications of the EM Theory?
Kenneth: Well, it can be used in many fields like for example
in medicine, domestic appliances, for industrial use, science
research, communication and such.
