1.1.1 . Basic information

• The Amman Chamber of Industry Intends To Build An Exhibition Area And A Specialized
Business Center That Considers The Design Of Environmentally Friendly Sustainability
Standards And Complies With Green Building Criteria On A Site Of About 33 Acres In The
Umm Al Basateen Area On Airport Street Next To Al Zaytoonah University. Following are
the divisions of a total projected construction area of 12500 M 2:• The 10,000 M2 of
building space on the exhibition grounds is divided into two or three sections.
• The Business Center's total area, including all administrative offices, multipurpose halls,
and all related services, is 2500 M 2. Additionally, parking lots, outdoor exhibition yards,
hallways, and corridors with vegetation are examples of outside areas.

1.1.2 . Significance Of The Project

• Since 1962, the Amman Chamber of Industry has been working to protect the interests of
industrialists and to offer services and programs that will increase the competitiveness of
Jordanian products both locally and internationally by promoting policies and fostering
collaboration between domestic and foreign sectors. This is done with the intention of
assisting the industrial sector's growth and in an effort to encourage local and international
businesses to participate in showcasing and marketing their goods and exchanging
experiences. By encouraging urban sprawl and the expansion of auxiliary axes, this also
contributes to suburban urbanization. Business parks give companies an immediate sense
of credibility, a presence in the neighborhood, more convenience, lower costs, and
flexibility in terms of office development and expansion.
1.2.1. History of the scientific/
theoretical field related to the project

Exhibitions

Crystal Palace: It is the first gallery in history

and was built in 1885 in London The idea for the
Great Gallery originated with Henry Cole. But
the man who secured the event was Prince
Albert, the husband of Queen Victoria.

Why the exhibition was designed:

• The mega exhibition is organized to put Britain at
the forefront of technology by showcasing its latest
inventions, everything from massive steam engines
to the latest cameras.
• The project was built using sets of prefab cast
iron, plywood and standard sized panes of glass.

• The design idea was inspired by the giant leaves of

the Victoria Amazonica water flower.

1.2.1. History of the scientific/

King Hussein Business Park

• Design year: 2010.

• Location: Amman, Al Shaab
Roundabout
• .Area: 120,000 square meters.

• The occupancy rate at KHBP is currently 100%.

• It houses more than 75 international companies and 100 startups.

• It employs more than 3,600 employees.

• In addition to two educational pillars; Al Hussein Technical University (HTU)
for STEM degrees and German Jordanian University (GJU) for master's
degrees, with over 300 students and growing.
• There are (32) buildings on the site, of which (20) are used for office use with
an office space starting from 150 square meters and going up to the building
with an area of 5,000 square meters.
• A building with an area of 8000 square meters dedicated to startups, which
provides them with the right infrastructure to support their ideas and emerging
projects to develop and grow from them to promising startups.
1.2.2 . Significant facts and their impact on
universal culture

• Businesses first assist society by distributing goods and services that are necessary for
survival. Additionally, they produce jobs that enable members of society to make enough
money to meet their needs. Companies may now produce their products in lower-cost ways
because to globalization. Additionally, it increases global competition, which lowers prices
and gives consumers a wider range of options. People in both developing and developed
nations may live better on less money because to lower costs.

1.2.3 . Business Status In The Local Community

• In order to encourage more residents to stay in the area, local businesses must grow. This
not only enables people to work closer to home, but also enhances community life by
bringing people closer together, generating more revenue for the city, and making the
community more self-sufficient. As a result of significant industry and service sector
development, Jordan experienced high rates of economic growth in 2021; however, just
like in every other country, the labor market's two main supply side issues—a lack of
human capital and its capacity to meet market demands—lead to a dynamic level of
unemployment. The economy's slow growth and inability to provide enough jobs, or the
demand side

1.3.1 . History Of Establishing

• The majority of big businesses were located in cities before the war so they could be near
establishments like banks, newspapers, and factories. However, as the postwar economy
grew, these corporations began to dislike living in cities. There was not enough space for
the army of middle managers needed to run a typical postwar corporate empire, not even in
the new towers. Changing offices into laboratories was challenging. In other words, the
same reasons why people moved to the suburbs to buy homes were the same reasons why
businesses moved there. Cities were becoming more and more dangerous and polluted as a
result of the influx of immigrants and labor activists, the pollution they produce (often
from factory owned businesses), and so on. Mozingo Objects to
1.3.2 . Local Need Of Such A Project

• By supporting policies and fostering cooperation between domestic and international

sectors, you may make Jordanian products more competitive both locally and
internationally. This is done in an effort to support the development of the industrial sector,
to encourage local and international businesses to participate in showcasing and marketing
their goods and exchanging experiences, to reduce unemployment, and to utilize the
abilities of young people.

 The phenomenon of unemployment can be solved by providing job opportunities for the
unemployed by building business complexes that provide job opportunities for large
numbers of people.

The age, gender, and education distribution of unemployment is a more serious challenge.
Unemployment rates among 15 to 24 years old males and females are particularly
discouraging.
1.4.1 . User Organization, Objective And Goals

Objective And Goals

• Attracting Inbound And Outbound Tourists Through Various Entertainment; •

• Increasing The Volume Of Business In Jordan Through The Work Of Business Park.•
• Lower The Unemployment Rate.•
• Promoting local businesses and Jordan's economic growth.

1.5.1 . Vision And Mission

Vision
• To be the leading, innovative and mixed-use business and technology park in the

companies, by managing and operating a smart business ecosystem that takes advantage of
talented human resources.

1.6 Conclusion
• An increase in the number of tourists and the demand for exhibitions.
• These projects must achieve the cultural and traditional goals of the local community.
• These buildings serve all groups in society, so they must be equipped with all the necessary
requirements.
• These projects are not limited to the local population only, but must contain special places
for visitors and there must be interaction between local residents and visitors.
• That these projects maintain the economy and material income of the state.
