POINT 1.

a. ¿What is the main idea of the text?

The main idea of the text refers to the characteristics, conditions and
requirements that a person must meet to obtain a driver's license in
the United States.

b. What is the driving program's purpose when it demands to

pass the written test and the driving test?
The reason for requiring such compliance is to ensure that new
drivers know and understand their rights and obligations on the road.
Additionally, it is of vital importance that these drivers demonstrate
their abilities to operate a vehicle correctly.

c. Considering the requirements to have a driver’s license in the

USA, do you think we could apply the same requirements in
Colombia? Explain.
Of course. Demanding that new drivers have the skills to operate a
vehicle and know the components that allow the proper functioning
of the road network, would be a great help to reduce accident rates
and the affectations and costs associated with them.

d. Write four obligations people must do to obtain a driver's

license in the United States.

1. They must pass a full medical exam

2. They must complete an eye test
3. They must pass a written exam
4. They must pass a driving test

POINT 2.

Following the recommendations of the forum, I share the text again

My name is Lisceth Armero Mutis, I have been working in a financial
institution for 8 years. At this moment I am studying 8 semester of
business administration. I feel that my work has contributed to my
personal and professional growth, has allowed me to maintain
economic stability during my studies and has been decisive in my
academic choices.
In my office, I have to generate reports to monitor the indicators; I
must also verify the different statuses of the credit applications and I
must confirm the scheduling of operations pending disbursement. I
must also continue serving customers and contacting different
business prospects.
Additionally, I must contact clients with higher balances in arrears,
and I must consolidate the information regarding the daily execution
of activities. Before the end of the day I must contact all the
commercial advisors to confirm what financial products they have
related for the next day and before leaving the office I must verify the
status of all the requests in process.
Sometimes I am required to organize birthday celebrations, wellness
activities and business calendars, although these activities are not my
responsibility. As for the activities that I do not have to do at work,
there are the following: I do not have to break schedules, I do not have
to answer personal calls while I am with a client, I do not have to eat
in public service areas, I do not have to wear clothing such as sandals
or skirts, I don't have to neglect my personal care, I don't have to wear
too much makeup, I don't have to constantly check my social
networks, I don't have to judge a person by the way they dress, I don't
have to argue with clients and I don't have to let a client leave the
premises without knowing our portfolio of services.
In these eight years I have learned the importance of teamwork and
the need for each of the activities associated with my position to be
carried out with the frequency and efficiency that my company
requires, in order to fully comply with the established business
projections. by the year 2023

POINT 3.
Step 3: Give feedback to your partner:

Answer step 1
I believe that the work of my colleague Mirella Torres Hernández
presents an adequate structure in terms of the development of the
activity. An order is maintained in the solution of the questions posed
and it is completed in its entirety.

Regarding the main idea of the text, I believe, unlike my partner, that
it refers to the conditions that a person must meet to obtain a traffic
license in the United States, not only fifteen-year-olds. Regarding the
objective of the written and driving test, as well as the applicability
that these conditions would have in our country, I agree with the
approach made. In question four the answers are consistent with the
reading and are necessary to obtain the license.

Answer step 2

In my opinion, the work of my colleague Natalia Enrìquez

Rodríguez presents an adequate structure, according to the
established requirements. She has a coherent and orderly idea of her
obligations and needs. From the reading we can establish that the
activities carried out in her day to day help her to strengthen the
organizational behavior that most companies present.

The text conforms to what was requested in the guide, it has three
paragraphs where she mentions her name, area of study, time in the
activity developed, and feelings towards her work. She makes use of
the verbs have to, don't have to.

Regarding the fact that she could improve, I believe that the
information should be expanded on the activities that are not her
responsibility but that she carries out based on the company she
represents. You also need to use the verbs must, and must not.
