Discuss the following question! 


1. Have you ever experienced getting difficult to memorize the information and idea
after reading?  Yes it is because of distractions - Our brains have been trained to constantly
check our social media, tv, friends and more.
2. How was your feeling when you easily forget what you have learnt? I felt anxious because
the reading might be useful for me in the future situation.
3. What makes you hard to recall your memory after reading? Not paying attention to what I
read and having a lot of distraction while read. It is like multitasking and my brain can’t take
it.
4. Have you ever used flow chart to help you to maintain your reading comprehension? No,
because I don’t really know the tips or trick to reading and never try it.

Which of the following statements do you agree/disagree with? And why?


1. People must read many times similar text to retain the information in their mind.
Agree, since a lot of people can’t seemly remember what they read and by reading it constantly
it might help their brain to recall the information.
2. Understanding on the coordination of subjects in the reading text is difficult without the help of
instrument like flowchart.
Disagree, in my opinion it is based on what ones style of reading and memorizing text and some
people might be not familiar with the flowchart instrument of reading.
3. Our brain preserve colorful, simple, and systematic concept better than complete scripts of words
without any picture. 
Agree, Readers use a variety of reading strategies to decode (to translate symbols into sounds or
visual representations of speech) and comprehend

Challenge
 What do you see in picture? There are two men that look like their having a discussion.
 What do you think the picture wants to tell you? The scheme of how flowchart works on reading.
 Have you ever done similar act like in picture? When and where? Yes, when i try to explain
something to my friend in class or even at home.
 How did you cope your problem when having similar situation like that? I will try to understand
the subject first and then explain it to my friends or to someone that ask me about the subject.
 Is there any connection between that acts with reading experience? Yes, by understanding the
instrumental of flowchart in reading it might be helping the reader to understand more about the
passage or text.
 What kind of reading material that possibly makes you hardly coordinate the ideas? Science
facts, Since it is hard to comprehend without help from the professional.
 In what way you will do that act after reading? When I want to recall the information about the passage.
 Do you think the flow chart sometimes help you to comprehend the text containing coordination?
Yes, because of the coordination of the flowchart than can be understand easily and the placement of the
chart.

2. Where do you see that picture? Normally, i often see it in an office or business company
3. What is the function of line in the picture? I think the function is to cooperate one employee
with other so that it is easy to manage by the boss or company headquarters.
4. Who are the people in the picture and what are their relationship? They are an employees of a
company 
5. Who has the highest position in the company? In general, the chief executive officer (CEO) is
considered the highest-ranking officer in a company, while the president is second in charge.
6. What are the role of people in each level? The CEO runs the entire show and makes the big
decisions based on the business's direction and actions. The President and Vice President roles
are not often very hands-on with the operational level. The department head is hands-on and
manages the employees in his division. etc.
7. How do they responsible to each other? As an employee, you have a 'duty of care'
responsibility for safety and health at the workplace. When your employees take more
responsibility, they might be doing it because it makes them feel wonderful or helps them move
ahead in their career. But one big reason why they take more responsibility is because they want
a praise or any another form of reward.

1. What is the text about? It is about company management hierarchy.
2. Who is in the top position in the company? The top management includes positions such as
Chairman, Vice-President, Board of Directors and the Chief Executive Officer
3. Who hold the biggest portion responsibility and profit in the company? A
chairman is the highest rank holder in a company. A chairman acts as a
representative of the  company to the outside world
4. Who take control on the company business in regional level? The regional
manager is responsible for managing the business of a particular  region.
5. Who are in the middle level in a company? Middle Management are General Manager and
Regional  Manager
6. Why the team leader is considered to play pivotal role in the business? A team leader is
responsible for the successful  coordination between the employees. Team leaders play a very
vital role because they are  associated with the grass root level of the organization.
7. To whom the team leader report on his or her duty achievement? The
supervisor. They supervise all the  essential aspects of a project.
8. What will happen if in the company, the work of general manager is not maximum? A
general manager undertakes job functions relating to different sections such as sales and
marketing, client  relations, operation management, financial management and team
management. If they don’t do their job on maximum phase they might be losing profit due to
lack of focus.
9. Is it possible if the company does not have certain position as stated in the text? Why?
Explain it with example! Perhaps the greatest power you have in landing an unlisted job is your
network—people who might know what’s happening on the inside of your companies, people
who can give you tips on getting noticed, and (in the best case scenario) people who can vouch
for your skills and abilities.
10. Can you give example the company in your country which apply similar
company organization as stated in the text? A public company or also known as PT Aset
Management Company (PERSERO) in Bahasa Indonesia. The main objectives of establishing a
PERSERO Company is to seek profit and to provide services to the public.
11. How can the company manage its employees to achieve company goal? Setting and
achieving goals keeps employees looking forward to new accomplishments and rewards, pushing
their performance to ever-increasing heights. The best goals include each of four vital
components; great employee goals are specific, time-bound, measurable and reasonably
attainable.

1. Main idea paragraph one = In this particular article, we will discuss in details about the 
various job positions that are in line, in the company management hierarchy
2. Main idea paragraph two = Top Management who is also called as the executive level, the top
management guides  the overall functions of a business

recruitment, etc.

using traditional means of recruiting like posting help wanted ads in newspapers and social 
media and listing jobs online like at Indeed.com or CareerBuilder.
3.  How applicants apply for jobs depends on the company.

candidate they  have chosen for the job.
