2 ½ cups all-purpose flour 2 large eggs

1 tsp baking soda 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350° Fahrenheit and place parchment paper on a baking sheet.
2. Stir the flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium size bowl.
3. Beat together the brown sugar and butter in a stand mixer (or in a large bowl with a hand-
held mixer) for 2-3 minutes.
4. Add the eggs and vanilla and beat until combined.
5. Turn the mixer off and add the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, and salt).
6. At a low speed, mix in the flour mixture just until combined then. Then, mix at a high
speed so the dough pulls together.
7. Add the chocolate chips and mix on high for a few seconds just until the chocolate is
spread throughout.
8. In large spoonfuls, place the cookie dough on the lined baking sheet. Do not flatten the
cookies; they will burn.
9. Bake until golden on the tops, 10 to 11 minutes. Let the cookies cool for 5 minutes before
moving them onto a rack to cool completely.
10. Repeat this process with all of the cookie dough.
11. Store the cookies in a covered container for 3 to 4 days.

Makes around 35 cookies. Can be stored in a closed container

for up to 4 days.
