Hello Mrs. Baker,

My name is Raygen Bearden. I have been using your blog’s dessert recipes for years, but
my favorite is the chocolate chip cookie recipe. Since I use it so often, I decided to perform a
usability test on the recipe for someone who hasn’t used this specific recipe before. I provided
the material, the kitchen equipment, and the ingredients needed for the test. I also observed the
subject for the duration of the test but didn’t offer any assistance in order to receive accurate
results.
Based on the results, it appears the recipe is mostly successful but could be improved
with a minor change. The test participant’s only suggestion was to include more images within
the document. The subject stated that certain steps (particularly step 6) have wording that could
be taken different ways for different people and that adding an image would help people
visualize what the recipe intended. I agree with this suggestion. I think adding additional images
would clarify some of the steps. Other than that, the subject had nothing but great things to say
