The piece is a poem that expresses the narrator’s love and admiration for farmers and
their labor. The poem describes the farmers’ daily routine, from waking up early in the morning
to tend to their crops and animals, to working tirelessly throughout the day under the scorching
sun, and finally resting in the evening, exhausted but fulfilled knowing that they have worked
hard to provide for their families. Through the use of vivid imagery and metaphors, the poem
highlights the essential role that farmers play in society as providers of food and sustenance. It
also showcases the struggles and hardships that farmers face, such as unpredictable weather and
a lack of government support. “An Paghigugma sa Parag-uma” is a tribute to the hardworking

farmers I know. They worked hard every day to provide for their family and community, often
facing numerous challenges and obstacles along the way. The poem serves as a tribute to their
