How do you perceive yourself?

Look at the results of your self-concept inventory and answer the following questions.

1. In what areas do you consider yourself strong (with score 14-16 or somewhat weak (score of 10-13)
and very weak (below 10).
- I consider myself strong in the areas of Human Relations, Character, Intelligence, and Communications.
As I interact with others, I perceive myself as approachable and welcoming. I also have characters that
show how I value my principles and how I present myself to others.
2. Are there qualities you consider as your weakness, but other people consider as your strength? What
are these? Check with a partner.
- According to my partner, my strengths should be Physical Appeal and Maturity. Because they have
noticed how I carry myself with poise, as well as how I react and give them good life advice. However, I
consider those two qualities to be my weaknesses because I am not confident in my physical features,
and I believe that I should practice thinking maturely and working on my expressions and reactions
when situations and difficulties arise. However, I am the type of person who is still learning, growing,
and seeking knowledge, and I am excited to see how I progress.

3. To what extent does it reflect your real self? Is it congruent to your ideal self?
- I don't believe my real self is congruent with my ideal self. Because I am insecure and hard on myself, I
am perplexed when people compliment me or when I suddenly receive recognition for something. At
the same time, because I can be guarded and private, I believe I am good at only showing people my
best side. So, to some extent, my demeanor isn't my true self, but that's true for most people.
